Krasnodar, 2 December. The Koptevskyi District Court of Moscow has delivered a guilty verdict in the criminal case against Albert Khudoyan, ex-owner of the Krasnodar “OZ Moll” shopping mall.
Together with Sergei Konoplev he was convicted under Art. 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud committed on large scale).
As established at the trial, Khudoyan acted as one of the beneficiaries of the foreign company, and Konoplev was the General Director of “Aviasiti” LLC.
- Being aware of all the commercial projects to be implemented with the use of Aviaciti, Khudoyan used the information for mercenary purposes,” says the official report of the Moscow City Prosecutor’s Office. As a result, the foreign company lost 50% of ownership of non-residential building, the lease rights to three land plots, and also lost its full share in the authorized capital of the commercial organization, causing damage totaling more than 4.2 billion rubles.
The court sentenced Khudoyan to 6 years in prison and Konoplev - to 3 years. The sentence has not entered into full legal force.
