Krasnodar, 3 March. The list of the areas subject for landscaping will reportedly be chosen in Sochi. The landscaping works will be performed in the context of the program “Formation of comfortable urban environment” of the national project “Dwelling and urban environment,” realized in Sochi since 2018. The areas to be landscaped this year will be chosen according to the results of the online voting. Thereby, Sochi residents will be able to voice their opinion about the areas that should be landscaped in priority order in 2021.
Now design estimates are being developed on these projects. Besides, in March the construction will accomplish the second stage of a large-scale project of landscaping and beautification of the Matsesta River from the railway station to the Matsesta Spa main building. Commenting on the issue, Aleksei Sokolov, Head of Sochi Department of Construction, stated that “it is necessary to competently and fast form the land parcels and create there new public spaces by inviting there all possible financing sources, including federal and regional ones.
