Krasnodar, 24 November. This year, the State Housing Inspectorate has reportedly submitted eighty notifications to the police about possibly committed offences in the apartment management sector.
Head of the Inspectorate Diana Trushkova disclosed that the controlling authority has suspected a number of companies of falsifying the signatures of the owners of apartment buildings in the minutes of general meetings.
As for the regional deputies, they believe that in order to exclude any conflicts and improve the efficiency of apartment management companies, it is necessary to toughen the requirements made to them at the state of licensing.
Vladimir Lybanev, Chairman of the Legislative Assembly’s Committee on Construction Issues and Housing and Utilities Sector, noted that the deputies have already addressed the issue to the State Duma.
“A corresponding letter must also be addressed to the Ministry of Construction. When we get the replies from our colleagues, we will summon a workgroup with participation of State Duma MPs,” Mr. Lybanev said.
