Krasnodar, 1 September. Last week, Russian Minister of Economic Development Maksim Reshetnikov visited Krasnodar krai.
Mr. Reshetnikov was quoted as saying that one of the aims of his business trip was to discuss how the Kuban business circles are overcoming the difficult period, and how the governmental support programs are being implemented in the region.
“The figures state that we can cope with the hardships – and we are doing it better than it was expected. We see that the economy is reviving quite fast,” he said at a meeting with the regional business community.
According to Mr. Reshetnikov, despite the complicated situation, the region has gathered good development pace in the traditional sectors, logistics and recreation industry. The federal minister noted that the region is actively implementing the support measures aimed at entrepreneurs. In particular, the regional Microfinancing Fund has issued 434 micro-loans to the total amount of 435.7 million roubles.
Mr. Reshetnikov backed the idea of including the recreational industry in the national project of improving labour efficiency and instructed the officers of his Ministry to study the issue thoroughly.
