Krasnodar, 25 August. Public areas in ninety towns and villages of the Kuban region will reportedly be landscaped and equipped with modern conveniences in 2021–2022.
These areas were chosen by a special selection process, the press service of the regional administration announced.
This year, 316 recreation zones in 73 settlements are undergoing landscaping and equipping with modern amenities. Partly, the works are covered by the national project “Habitation and urban environment” – 76 public and 5 courtyard spaces. The rest 235 sites will be reconstructed at the cost of municipalities and sources other than the public purse. “Over 1.9 billion roubles were allocated for neighbourhood development in the framework of the national project, of which 1.7 billion roubles came from the federal and regional budgets. As on now, the completeness rate of building and erection works on the subsidised projects equals to 80%,” the regional Ministry of Fuel and Energy Complex and Housing and Utilities Sector released.
