Krasnodar, 4 August. A program of subsidising the construction of gas distribution networks will reportedly be developed in Krasnodar krai to help the authorities of Beloglinsky rayon supply natural gas to every household.
Such decision was taken last week during Governor Veniamin Kondratiev’s meeting with public activists of Beloglinsky rayon.
At the meeting, local residents complained that not all households are connected to the gas pipelines that have been laid to every settlement.
The overall gas supply coverage in the municipality equals to 76%, which is lower than the regional average of 83.2%. Now it is the local authority’s task to build the distribution networks, but local budgets often lack money to fulfil it.
Commenting on the issue, Mr. Kondratiev said that “complete gas supply can be done only if there are distribution networks laid inside the villages.”
The governmental program “Development of fuel and energy complex” provides for annual financing in the amount of 300 million roubles. Thirty-seven gas supply projects of the total length of 147.6 km were implemented last year in 19 municipalities.
