Krasnodar, 8 July. According to the Central Voting Committee of the Republic of Adyghea, the turnout on the voting regarding the amendments to the Russian Constitution in the region was 81.98%; of whom 84.55% voted for the amendments, and 14.66% voted against them.
Commenting on the voting, Adyghean leader Murat Kumpilov noted that it was held with observance of all safety measures and without any violations. Over 1,600 observers were following the voting process, including representatives of the Presidential Council on Civil Society and Human Rights.
It was stated that young voters took an active part in the voting. Members of the Adyghean regional office of United Russia’s Youth Guards voted in every municipal entity.
Mr. Kumpilov stated that the voting proved that the situation in the region is stable. The people voted for the worthy and safe future of their country, and protection of the traditional values.
