Later the company was involved in the construction of F1 course facilities.
Mr. Galas was quoted as explaining that the aggregate volume of fi - nancing of those mega-projects had reached 77 billion roubles, part of which were bank credits. In order to pay off the debt, the Omega had for several years been repaying 80% of its proceeds to the bank. The credit had been taken under the regional state warranty. As on January 1, 2020, its residue was 5.7 billion roubles. Due to the early repayment of the credit, the region’s warranty liabilities were also terminated ahead of schedule.
