Krasnodar, 1 August – Yug Times. A specially protected natural area is to appear in Krasnodar province.
Its prospects were discussed last week in Krasnodar at a conference attended by regional legislators, executive officers and municipal workers of Anapa and Temriuk rayon. The conference was chaired by Vice Governor Sergei Boldin.
“This will be a park founded to preserve the unique landscapes of the seaside stripes of the Black Sea and the Taman peninsula, with all specific variety of plants and animals. Besides, it will ensure preservation of the curative and resort factors of Anapa and Temriuk areas,” Mr. Boldin stressed.
At the conference, it was decided that these areas will remain part of the natural park, but the municipalities will also get an opportunity to develop tourism there. Such mechanism was foreseen to ensure that the protection regime for these areas should not be an obstacle for the socio-economic development of the municipalities.”
