Krasnodar, 7 November – Yug Times. The students of the Business School, the educational project realised by the Kuban State Agrarian University jointly with the Southern Regional Committee of the European Business Association, have reportedly learnt in practice how en efficient model of a new enterprise may be founded.
For over a month, the students have been studying foundations of business and acquiring knowledge from top managers of leading companies operating in south Russia.
The students have already received a wide spectrum of new knowledge - from business ethics and main landmarks of industrialisation to auditing on-the-job practice at various companies. Now there comes a time when the students should get the skills that may be used when opening their own business projects. A workshop consisting of a lecture and practical tasks was delivered by Vitali Andreyev, PR Assistant to Director of the Krasnodar branch of the Centre Invest Bank.
“You have key resources that are worth money, you have ideas that also need investment,” Mr. Andreyev explained.
“A company’s expenses may be either permanent (rental, wages, taxes) or variable (the cost of an average cheque).
One will need to calculate the breakeven point to understand if his or her business model is realisable. [The breakeven point] is the sales volume that states that the business has become profitable, and proves the vitality of your ideas.” The course that teaches the students to write an efficient business plan has not yet finished. There will be one more module dedicated to this important skill. Then the students will be defending their own projects, proving their cost-efficiency, financial consistency and need to the society.
By the end of the training course, the students will learn a lot more about the ways of opening and running of a profitable company. It is also necessary to consolidate the obtained skills: all like in real life, just even better - without the risk to end in a fiasco.
